If you’re trying to get your DeForm thumbnail image to show up on Twitter, follow these steps.
Option A: Use Twitter card validator
Step 1
- Go to this link: https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator
- Paste your DeForm URL
- Click “Preview Card”
Step 2
Then, wait 5-10 minutes.
Step 3
Refresh your browser and try typing in the form URL on twitter again. It should contain your new thumbnail now!
If the thumbnail image still isn’t loading your custom image, see next section.
Option B: Add random query param to URL
If option 1 fails, you can always add a random query param to the end of your DeForm URL. Here’s an example:
https://app.deform.cc/form/89e67abe-aa2e-4d76-a6b0-4ae43df0cb5d?a=1I have a custom URL, what should I do?
If you set up a custom domain setup, you can still add a random query param to the end of your custom domain URL. Here’s an example:
https://signup.acme.com/?a=1Try pasting the URL on Twitter!
